Leased Line
Leased Line Internet Connections provide 'Permanently On', high capacity Internet access with SLAs for performance and availability. For businesses that need to be online permanently, moving high volumes of data to other parts on the Internet, such as business partners or second sites or providing an Internet based business service to consumer, the only answer is a Leased line connection. Leased lines are available in speeds from 64Kb to 100Mb, but the most popular and cost effective sizes are 2Mb and 10Mb providing guarenteed bandwidth in both directions.
It is essential that the correct network equipment is used at each end of a leased line and we are able to ensure that the right combination of firewalls, routers, and switches are specified. Pricing is unique for each location due the availability or reach of network cabling and Colloquium recommends that you discuss your requirements, prior to order, with one of our experienced sales staff.

*Please note that with the 8Mb ADSL Max service, there are now more favourable alternatives for small sized leased lines requiring less than 512Kb of bandwidth. It is worth noting that although the capabilites of ADSL continually improve as the more advanced features of the DSL standards become commercially available they do not come with SLAs and are not available in all locations.
