Traditional applications required dedicated terminals or software and licences to be installed everywhere it had to be accessed. Outputs and reports were tied to dedicated terminals and printers and any changes or expansion were fabulously expensive.
At Colloquium we have embraced the power of open source software to build many complex and high profile applications for our clients that combine the complexity of SQL databases with powerful server software and presented using clear and intuitive web interfaces.
We are able to integrate to external reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, or even Access and Excel by providing simple ODBC connectivity.
Security is always important, but more so when remote access to key corporate information is provided to remote users who may be working from a hotel room or via a laptop using WiFi. Security protocols such as SSL and IPSec ensure only authorised access, and controls within the application can be used to restrict the improper copying or modification of data.
