Nexus VoIP Telephone Systems

Colloquium VoIP-based telephony solutions offer a rich and flexible feature set. The Nexus range of VoIP based Soft PABXs offer both classical PABX functionality and advanced features, and inter-operates with standard telephony systems. A simple web based directory provides simple management of the internal telephone directory.

Nexus offers the features one would expect of a large proprietary PABX system such as Voicemail, Conference Bridging, Call Queuing, and Call Detail Records. It has support for three-way calling, caller ID services, and interactive voice response menus. Nexus supports all telephony standards and is a simple drop-in replacement for most legacy PABX systems in use today.

Nexus is scalable from small single-site two line systems to multi-site systems with thousands of extensions. Support for VoIP is standard on all Nexus PABXs allowing existing Internet connections to be used to link offices. Broadband connections can be used to provide seamless extensions for home users giving remote access to all of the standard features.

All Nexus systems support the SIP protocol both for endpoint communications and for SIP trunking. Inter-office telephone calls can be passed over broadband links using SIP trunking to provide toll-free calling for all internal communications.

A standard feature of all Nexus systems is the ability to integrate fax with both fax to email gateways and support for fax over SIP.
